About Us
Small Business Startup was established back in 2001 as IBFskinned™. We started out making styles for our personal forum board, these styles soon were talked about among the community of forum board users and it did not take long until people started asking if they could also use the styles we had made.
We soon started up a site for our work, IBFskinned™, and started work on some more free designs for other forum board systems like like Invision Power Board and Vbulletin and phpBB. Soon people wanted to start to submit their own work to our site, so they could be available to our member base. We then changed our name to NBSdesignz™ (Natural Born Skinners)
Within a few months of going live with NBSdesignz our member base grew and we had thousands of people visiting our site on a monthly basis to see all the free designs we had made. Before long our name had been made in the forum world. The demand grew so large that we ended up towards 15 million visitors per month, with some large companies using our work, and then came the custom orders.
After a few years of our success in the forum world, we moved into other areas, like helping others to startup companies online, this included building our own scripts (top-list, banner ads and customer support scripts), web design and web hosting. Like before we grew so quickly that we ended up owning our own dedicated servers to cope with the demand from our members. We finally grew so big, it became too much for us with all the services we were providing, being just a family run company we were left with little to no time to ourselves.
Being just a family run site, we made the decision to sell NBSdesignz and take a break from the online community and get back to enjoying our family life. That was until earlier this year, when we were contacted by an old customer who wanted some custom work done again, which lead into another job, and so on. Feeling ready, armed with our experiences and better time management we are decided we were ready to begin a new, which has lead to the start up of SBS (Small-Business-Startup).

Our Mission
Now as SBS (Small-Business-Startup) we have started a fresh, with no real links back to our old days of fame and glory, this is why our new site shows none of our old work, but you still can see our work on many sites, and by searching under our old names you can still see still how big we did become.
SBS is now about helping others gain some of the success that we owned, we can offer many services to our customers and members, from designing of a complete site to a holding page, from web hosting on our UK Cloud servers to the installation of forum software and scripts on your hosting accounts. We like to think we have been able to deal with all types of work involved in the running of a business or a site on the internet.
